Torquay Tourist Information.

Torquay is the largest of the three towns, which make up the popular tourist region of Torbay. Affectionately known as the English Riviera, Torquay is renowned for it's excellent climatic conditions.

Popular entertainments in Torquay include Living Coasts (discover life by the sea), Kents Cavern prehistoric caves, ten pin and crown green bowling, water sports, Torquay United Football Club, Torquay Athletic Rugby Club and Torquay Cricket Club. The main Torquay cinema is located in Abbey Road part of the town centre shopping region.

For nights out Torquay has a diverse range of night clubs and music bars located throughout Torquay, Babbacombe, Paignton and Torbay. During the summer months regular entertainments include the Torquay regatta, tall ship races, power boat racing, fire work displays, Red Arrows display team and the traditional sea side fun fair which visits Torquay sea front.
